A 3-year-old Arab girl died after jumping from the 4th floor in a building in Ajman to see her mother who was standing downstairs, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The girl was rushed to a local hospital but her heart stopped, prompting doctors to send her to Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital in the emirate.

Emarat Al Youm daily said doctors raced against time to save her life but her “little” heart stopped two times again before she died.

“Relatives said the child jumped down when she saw her other mother standing downstairs,” the paper said, adding that she suffered from skull and body fractures.

Poor little angel. May she rest in peace.  However, let this be a warning to all of us parents, especially those living in flats. Check your balconies and doorways.

Kids are kids and an eye needs to be kept on them at all times. They have all sorts of "ideas" going through their mind. May her soul rest in peace.
