I have seen your other thread, you are moving from UAE?

I think you dont need a CID clearance here, you just need to pass the Medical test for residency and undergo Finger print, after 1 week, you go to Immigration Dept. for your RP.

Good Luck!

CID-clearance is required from you to work for another place/company either for "Job approval" or "Change of sponsorship".

Refusal of CID clearance does not necessarily means you have a criminal case in Doha, it could also be due to the job offered to you and the salary and if its a Govt. or Private company w/c has to be evaluated at the Labor Dept for approval.

To obtain this, you are advise to do the "Finger Print" and submit the following requirements:

1)NBI clearance w/ photocopy (authenticated from embassy & Ministry of Foreign Affairs)

2)NOC from your sponsor,

3)Job offer from the new company

4)Certificates and Credentials

5)Pictures passport size

6)Passport copy

7)Stamp QR6 (@CID office)

8)Application form (@CID office)

Then wait for ??? weeks for the results. "Be Patient!)

If you have done with your medical and if it is alright you have to have proceed for finger printing within next 4 days. It has nothing to do with your previous criminal record. They do it to keep your track hereafter.

You will get your rp only after completing this procedure successfully. Why have you not done your medical and finger printing yet? How long have you been here in Qatar?

It's similar to NBI clearance back home.

Or if you are involved in some crime doing your stay over here.

i think the finger printing is for a record just in case you are wanted in another country.

By littlemissme• 11 Jun 2007 21:09

Again, not sure what you're asking sly.

I THINK that the fingerprints are so they're on file in case they're needed, cos when (and if) you go for police clearance when you leave they scan your prints to see if anything comes up.
