20 years from now, maybe this type of a club might exist. Right now, most Qataris are still getting used to this new Westerner style of living (you know, driving Landcruisers, buying clothes from Gucci, etc.). Give it some time, people will change. You can still be Muslim even if you become a bit more liberal.

Chini,

You forget that you are living in a country with the highest GDP in the world.

A small market = exclusivity = high profile = higher prices = potential

i think no one will open a business like what u've said...

coz if u want your business to have a good profit...

your target customers must not be limited...

if im not mistaken, Qataris are only 20% of the population...

But if and only if...there would be a club only for Qataris...

i don't think they will go there...

only if they have male and female separate sections and only married women could attend unless the single ones are properly accompanied by their mothers, aunts and grandmothers, ah and almost forgot, by their maids.

Some day i'll open up a club for the Qatari youngings and i'll have a big transparent glass wall that separates the boys from the girls that way everyone is happy :)

Good Fortune always comes knocking at your door...when you are sh*tting in the toilet!! :)

No Way! They dont need to have club, they have private houses and places to meet up but no mix-ups

No. They will not.

Because

1 - the liberals go to bars

2 - the ladies are not allowed to go out and mix and socialize.

failed concept from the get-go.

Firstly there will never be any club with Qatari Boys and Girls together .. its impossible .. ! Due to the culture they always have a seperate mens function and ladies function one example is the local weddings.

I am not sure if there are underground clubs but partying in a Dish-Dash aint happening here.
