Banks put the standing instructions in different ways dear. Loans, credit card settlements etc. are usually based on salary; so the system will automatically debit the account when a salary is auto-posted to the account; i.e., it's a transaction triggered standing instruction. If it's date triggered, customer might withdraw the amount and nothing would be left on the due date.

the payments are not due on 15th itself but normally they can take the payments anytime in between 1 and 15th hence the deduction....maybe your salary was credited just a couple of days ago?

Commercial Bank is right. what is wrong if they deducted on 10th instead of 15th. If this angers u pay the full amount and cancel the credit card otherwise be prepared mentally to face whatever comes out of it. I was fed up with these deductions and cancelled my credit card recently. (not from CBQ).

I just got SMS from HSBC; they have debited my amount due on 20th, today. (are banks closed from 13-20 ? dont know yet) But it's ok as long as it's a due payment

yes CBQs computers do not work over Eid they are on holiday.

CBQ employee also tell lies, that is why I cancelled my credit card with them, despite getting an apology from the CEO

it happened to me in Doha bank regarding car installment, and whenever the due date is Saturday they take it on Thursday.

Yes it's normal with all banks. If tomorrow is holiday, bills due for tomorrow are taken the previous working day; not on next working day.
