Vegas,

The spirit in which you speak tells it all!

"I'm happy with 3-2...

It is almost like a win for us...."

That is the spirit of a team that never dreamed with even qualifying to the 2nd round.

We were very confident that if we were to reach the finals, Brazil would have needed plenty of diapers!

And we would have never settled for less than a win against them nor would we have considered any result other than winning as "an almost win"...

I just described the facts... so congratulations.

I'm happy with 3-2...

I am not a bad looser, I am an awful loser, so I will only say this:

Spain had a very bad day and the USA had a very good one!

Don't you ever have one of those days where everything you do just goes wrong!

And to add to it, your rival has everything going right!

If only Iniesta had played... :-D

Fabiano brace, lucio header help Brazil snatch come-from-behind win to defend Confederations Cup crown against USA

Brazil defended their Confederations Cup title last night with a crushing come-from-behind 3-2 victory to inflict a cruel loss on tenacious underdogs the United States.

USA's goalkeeper Tim Howard (right) fails to stop Brazil's Luis Fabiano (left) from scoring his second goal during their Confederations Cup final at the Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa last night.

The five-time world champions looked out for the count after Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan put the Americans two up at half-time but they bounced back with a Luis Fabiano brace drawing them level with 16 minutes left.

Owwwww Happy Happy...

I still love you though!!!!

I just enjoyed messing with Egyptian heads as they were getting a bit cocky after their wins.

Well I dont know the reason but if there is a challenge and I am not included; I always support the weak side. But its different this time because I am a fan of South American football style.

Didn't even watch for thought that result would be 4:0 the other way around - US played miserably in group stage. Wow. What a surprise to wake up to.

Have no fear US potential to play cricket is nil. Can't stand any events that go more than 2-3 hours and the linescores are even more indecipherable than baseball.

Actually Football or Soccer is/was not very popular in States but as we can see from their performance they are getting better.

BTW I am sure peope in states were much more busy with the NBA finals instead of Confederation Cup :).

Even though football is a relative new sport to America, they have been working very hard to get into the running and play their best. Just goes to show that hard work pays off!!
