Construction Field - need advise

I have a question for all those of you who are in the construction field and can give me advise on what to do or where to go....
We are about the start the construction on our villa and now I need to know, will I need a construction consultant/supervisor? I know the architect will be able to provide this for a fee, but I do not feel ok with that/them. I know I will need to keep on using them for all the permits etc, however I would like to find someone with great ideas and high professional standard to take up the job of consultant.
So, now my real question. Do any of you know of someone or a company that can provide me with this service?

Foryousantro, you got it. I need a clever consultant who can follow the project. We have all the drawings etc. And preferably I would be looking for a lady who can follow up with me and check on what the construction company is doing.

Thanks for all the answers. Yes I know I can open the yellow pages. That is what I did to find an architect who got the permits from Balladiyah after my fantastic architect(who did the drawings but is not qualified to get the permits) But I realized these guys are not on the same wave length as I cos I want something really good, superior quality then the usual crappy general standard here! I had hoped some of you would know/recommend a person or company that can do that. We have all the up-to-date building permits already. We need someone to follow the construction side so that we get the top quality we are looking for.

Aisha, st00281 is right, you should find simply by looking up yellow pages, my advice to you, don't hire free lancers, go with good reputation companies, ask any company to provide to you prior to starting their portfolio and their best price, which you can easily get since market is soooooooooooooo down nowadays. MUST check history of company and see all their previous projects.
make sure you right a contract.

there are plenty of contractors that does it .. just look around.. usually a billboard are placed in front of the villa with contractors list.. I hope its for qatar u are enquring abt

umm Aisha i guess if u need a advice for ideas u should look for a Enginer who can give u more ideas and make a budget plan .. 1. how much u want to spend , 2 what do u need. i mean extra rooms or a area to rent out ..k best of luck
