This is a primitive HOAX, if it was a genuine warning, it would have been sent out by the Ministry using their logo, this looks like it has been put together by some Computer ilitterates .

If you google any warnings, you would not find anything.

Too many things like tihs is sent out and distributed without having it checked- Mila, Great you are sending it out asking if it is True or not

no the warning is BS, just looked on pubmed and the BMJ and there is nothing to suggest taking those tables as directed will do you any harm.

Read the leaflet, if under the DO NOT TAKE IF... section something applies to you

then don't take them.

Or if you're REALLY worried just use paracetamol...unfortunatly there isn't much

you can do for a cold or flu.

Psudoephedrine and has been known for ages. Psodoepherdrine is a manmade stimulant, its the drug,  drug Labs extract from these tablets to mix with MDMA to get ecstacy. Its also the drug that these tablets use do conter effect the drowsyness of the codine. thats why you usually have day and night capsules although now most seem to be skipping the night capsule and just marketing the day ones. Anybody with a nervous disorder or underlying heart condition should defenitly not be using these tablets. But if you dont know you have a heart condition then the effect can result in a lot of things even death. thats why it is always advisible to read the warning labels on all medicines especially the ones you can just buy over the counter.

There are more kinds to that, few days ago, i was watching MBC 4 if i was not mistaken, the Insider, said most of the cold and flu medications are dangerous, because in the US and Europe, these has been abusingly used  by the youngsters and there is an effect of being "High"

Sometimes, we get warnings about various medicines. If the warning we have here is true, then we should not see such medicines on the shleves. GCC exchange such information immediately and proper actions are taken.

Personaly, I do not trust such warning which is a primitive word document. No letterhead or official document means the warning is a kid's game.
