Decorate My Tree

lovinni
By lovinni

It's almost Christmas season. And i chose to bring this grandeur spirit in Doha. So I'm planning to set up the tree in two weeks time. While i make plans to find the tree, i want to ask how you decorate it. First, would you prefer a green or white tree? And how about the theme? Red and green or silver and gold. And other decors you have in mind?

Suggestions please...

been to dreams earlier to buy my christmas tree and decors. it was all worth it! price very reasonable and many to choose from!

finally decided for a green tree - about 6-feet tall, decors are in gold and silver with a touch of big red ribbons.

lights i bought 2, white and multicolored! will decorate this weekend!

It's hard to grow one, y'know.

I'm trying to imagine if I can make a Christmas tree out of a date tree...

Christmas brings the worst out in me.............it has nothing to do with Christianity but everything to do with shopping...........OMG! I just remembered - Louis Vuitton!Must dash! Oh and I forgot, its bad luck to set your tree up so soon. I get a Philippino in, give em some tartan ribbon and Voila!

I rather think it is time to slip into Gin Mode. Its not even the end of October and already the sychophantic trolls on QL are worried about the colour of their Christmas Trees? Just call Harrods and they will deliver a huge decorated tree, presents, a cake and a Fairy to shove up the top of the tree. Yah. rock on Harrods. Roll on Easter I say. OH! Mj, may I say how lovely u r looking today..........mwah!

I've already made my xmas list and checked it twice. There's really only one item on it ...

"Dear Santa,

I've been good this year. Please bring me a Canon 5D Mark II"

:o)

Did you Google it first?

Some years I make cut-out cookies with cookie cutters in the shape of trees, reindeer, stars, etc., and hang them on the tree. They make nice ornaments.

Green tree 4 feet tall, different colored and sizes of balls, with a lot of little ornaments plus a little strip of silver ribbons. hhhmmm..... just the classic tree setup in the corner of the loft ( hhmmm.. I'm thinking of putting tiny spotlights under the tree)

Cheers all

.i want an unconventional tree,

example.

wrap the tree with silk / sheer fabric, then the lights will be diffused.

.

put star all over the tree instead of balls.

.

all ball are under the tree, different size.

.

pink tree.....

.

Definately a green tree. Nothing says xmas like ornaments that have been collected over the years. I don't think I'll have one this year :( but I hope to exchange presents for the kiddies.
