DISGUSTING...........

With great regret I would like to point out the mentality of the people living in Qatar. It is true that cent percentage may have a good soul. But somehow in total, what i felt is heartless.

All are aware of the rising inflation rate in qatar. Three weeks back I put an add on the Qatar living for a family accomodation. Till date i have not received a single call from anyone. Don't u think it's something ridiculous? Was that coz, my budjet is 1500-1800. Doesn't anyone have a single bedroom and a bathroom with a ktichen for rent on the specified amount? Lots of new flats and villas are rising day by day. But 80% of them are vaccant. Why the brokers are doing a hell job? What are they going to benefit out of it? Why cant they rent a 3 bedroom flat for 4000/month? I feel ramadan is not going to make any change in anyone's life.

I rented a flat in June 06 for QR3,000 in Bin Mahmood. Actually the flat was rented by one person for the last 14 years and when he got
a company accomodation he shifted without canceling the current agrement. And what he did was, he subletted the same to someone else and the person sub rented the flat again subletted to me which i came to know after one year. At the time of my rental he told me that, the agrement and the change of water and electricity into my name will be done within two months. Even after 08 months, he did not change the same into my name. So when I asked what's the reason behind it, he revealed the story. I felt frastruted. The actual rent of the flat was 2,200QR/month. The person who subletted the flat to me was taking 3,000/Month from me. In May 07 he again increased the amount to 3,900/month and this month he once again told me that the rent has been increased to 4,500/month. It is leaned that, the actual rent of the flat still remain at 2,200/month and the land lord has no idea that his flat has been subletted without his permission by the first tenant.

In his records the man who was staying in the flat for the last 14 years, is still occupying the flat.

I really wants to tell the matter to the landlord, but helpless coz, if he comes to know abt it, he may immediately ask me to vacate the house.

I don't know what to do and since then am looking for an an idependant accomodation. COULD ANYONE HELP ME TO SORT OUT THIS PROB????????

All are behind money and a posh life. No one is intrested to look into the life of an ordinary person. What to do? It's life..... Just Live ... Till we die.

May God Bless All
Happy Eid.....

What exactly is your problem, the fact that no body has replied to your ad? or you are living in a subletted flat?

First of all, nobody has replied becaue nobody has a room for you... or because they may be getting more than what you are offering...Anything wrong in that?

...You can't mean what you say unless you can say what you mean...

The ownwer may be grateful to u for helping him see the light, i mean if hes fair with the rent, im sure he would be fair with you if you explain the situation, i would try to look into your rights in this situation, im you cant just be thrown out, is there at least a written contract between you and the man who rented this place to you, If not try to get one to prove that you have an agreement with him

i dont think that legal to just rent out a flat without the owner knowing, i think you should find out who the owner is and complain about it, i dont think the owner would be to happy as, hes not even charging that anount so it doesnt look good on him for tenants to just rent out HIS property when they feel like it, thats really bad
