Just as an FYI

They have a public use computer down by the elevators.  You can download almost anything on it...so I was able to skype out in the evenings to call my family in the states.

They are currently installing wireless in all the rooms (and for some reason were very apologetic that they hadn't finished yet...they came by to say I'm sorry everyday and it wasn't like I was upset and I only asked when we checked in) so maybe in the near fture that will exist.

There is a computer downstairs by the waterfall. I think it's for the public as I see all kinds of folks using it. Good luck.

So, I was just asking because I am due any day, delivering there and up right now with my mind wandering and ... since we have Skype I was wondering if my husband could bring his laptop to the hospital and make international calls from that when the baby arrives.  We have only been here a few weeks and we just got RP so I haven't had a chance to look at QTel for broadband cards with everything else we have been doing, but I will look into that.

That indeed is a very good question. Sometimes in the hospital the patient tends to sleep too much or need something to kill time. What about other public or private hospital or clinic?
