Hi All, Aslam o Alikum,

Heading to Houston on direct QA flight, next week, wondering what's the experience like for those who went before?

I had taken a return direct from Washington last year and it was good experience as manage to get some sleep.

It's not too bad, really. It was sooo nice to fly directly - a change of planes, I find, can really suck the life out of you.

I do find that the service on QA varies widely. On my flight to D.C. in July the flight attendants passed out the meals, gave drinks and then that was it for something like an hour. They ignored the call buttons and were nowhere to be seen - I wasn't the only passenger who was a bit irked at the situation.

On the way back to Doha I flew on the direct flight from Houston. The staff was super-friendly and helpful - go figure.

If will be there by end of month, electronics get down to even half price all around, anyway if wont be there by end of month, many stores will have good deals, try bestbuy....

About flight, is not that bad i did it three times since started, just try to sleep at least 8 hours any time during the flight

Enjoy

and Qatar airways has plenty of movies, music and games to keep you entertained. BTW, you can ask for extra snacks between their scheduled meals.

It's a long flight, but you have some experience at that.

Getting some sleep is crucial.

I have no complaints about the straight flights to Houston I've taken.

Where in Houston will you be going?

If you have any questions, I can help. ;)
