Doha Park Festival 2011’ starts on October 13 till the end of November 2011,  more than 100 entertaining events including an amusement park, an international circus, theatrical plays, concerts, a 3D cinema, a play area for children under the age of 10, entertainment programmes, a live theatre for children, and various fun athletic activities to suit tastes of all family members.

I did not see any free activities, even baloons are not free. The entrance is free because there are shops and restaurants inside, but you have to pay for the rides, circus or cultural shows. Maybe there more activities to follow? As I think they mentioned face-painting, some competitions for children on the website, but I did not see any of it yesterday.

its located right next to the qatar exhibition centre which is again located near katara in west bay zone

There are a lot more Free Activities - almost 100 free activities (mentioned in the web site) , 130 free activities (Doha-Park agent said)

Lolz... no no .. if someone wanna take it, pay and enjoy. You have to  buy ticket for a ride.. :)..... One ride one ticket , two rodes two tickets :S

Thank you os much for the information... I called one of the number, lady told me that there is NO entry fee. Only, we have to pay the Theatre, Cinema and Circus.

And, offcourse, rides are not free of cost. It depends on the individual.
