Don't do waxing in LONDON BEAUTY SALON
They are doing a big mistake in London Salon or Leonards which are both managed by the same company:
1- The staff make the wax in an unhygienic method in the salon, by mixing sugar and Sprite and Lemon juice, etc.......... and God knows what else??????????????
They pure it in big open, unhygienic pots, No licence from Ministry of Health for this product!!!!!!!!!!!!
2- All the clients are sharing the same wax heater, the wax and the applicator.
3- People think that it is heated, so the viruses and Bacterias are killed, But
Please be informed that HPV Virus, the main reason of Cervical Cancer lives on the skin of the genital area, So if you are doing the BIKINI waxing, there is a big possibility of getting the HPV virus from the wax which is already contaminated by other thousands of clients, that you are sharing the wax, and the tools with.
HPV virus can be active in years, so please be careful.
There are many other viruses that we still dont know them and they may be discovered in the future, and then it will be so late to regret!!!!!!!!!!
so far i know where NOT to do waxing .. but can anyone tell me then where to do waxing?!? that is not so expensive..and thats good..
**im new in Doha so still trying to figure out everything :D
omg!!!
I dont have any experience with Sun bed.
but since there is no possibility of cut, wound or no usage of shared tools or materials on your body directly, it should be safe, cause our skin is a strong barer against all the external risks and Threats.
My main concern was Bikini Waxing, which I know that the Genital skin area is the host of some dangerous viruses.
Still we cant make sure, about the temperature of the wax that it is more than 60 or not!
and plus that: lots of other unknown and known viruses are existing in such type of environments.
During waxing we may experience minor bleeding, which means a big possibility of exposure to different viruses and bacterias.
Does this mean that I can continue using the Sunbed or revert to spray tans ?
Well, I take your point about hygiene but HPV is killed by temps above 60 C so I doubt it's living in melted wax.
