Hi, I am a Pakistani, I have a valid KSA driving license, do I still need to undergo the complete driving classes and test? also guide me about the license fee
Correct, I took the theory test but will avoid the parking portion and go directly to the road test on June 30th. I dont know why and really do not understand the rules or the reasoning. You would think if you have a GCC license than all would be well. The driver my sponsor sent is from Morocco and got his license in one day, no tests, no nothing. The day he took me for my theory test, he hit somebody in a parking lot! Unreal...
I have a valid Kuwait, US and International license but could not get my Qatar license directly. I had to take the theory test, took me twice to pass it but that is done. Now I have to wait until June 30th to take the driving portion of the exam. If you email me here I will send you the study guide from the MOI I received.

Perhaps a "direct Test" involves both theory and practical , but there is no need to take lessons - see link:

The best option is to check with a driving school or Traffic department
hey britexpat according to your link GCC license holder can go directly for test but mallethead went for the theory test first
dude this is very confusing ... can GCC license holder go for direct test or not ??

Someone is in the wrong :O(
I never said that, sur_b4u!
@WT ... GCC driving license holders can not go for direct test. :)
Good Evening,
I have a valid Kuwait, US and International license but could not get my Qatar license directly. I had to take the theory test, took me twice to pass it but that is done. Now I have to wait until June 30th to take the driving portion of the exam. If you email me here I will send you the study guide from the MOI I received.
"You can go to a direct test." (Britexpat)
"You can not go for driving test." (sur_b4u)
That's what I love about QatarLiving!
Fee: Last month it was around 2400 QAR approx (including eye test) for half course.
But I heard they have changed the rule and increase the fee to 4-5 K QAR. Confirm from driving school.
You can not go for driving test, but u can go for half course.
There will be 3 tests:
- Theory (20 MCQs based computer test)
- L-Parking and then box-parking
- Road test (Final)
If you pass all these, you will get the license on same day after passing final test.
They want to know if you follow the rules and can control the car.
what do they emphasis on? Parallel parking etc?
KSA license wont convert in Qar license?
what is the structure of test? is theory also inculded?
You can go yo a direct test
