Drug Prescription and Medical Procedure

Hi,

I have a prescription (from a doctor here in Qatar) for Xanax.

Unfortunately, I have been to two pharmacies neither of whom stocked this medicine. (I have also been to Hamad General Hospital but the pharmacy staff there were rude and unhelpful and wouldn't even look at a prescription that didn't come from their hospital).

Does anybody know of a pharmacy which is likely to stock this medicine?

Secondly, does anybody know if it is possible to have a vasectomy in this country? If it is possible can somebody let me know where? (Note that I've already tried Hamad General Hospital and the doctor I saw said that they don't do it).

As far as the Xanax goes, have you tried Khulood Pharmacy at the Burger King Round About? It's supposedly the biggest pharmacy here in Qatar. I had to go there to get my long acting insulin pen and cartridges. As for the vasecotmy, have you tried the private hospitals like Ah Ahli or Doha Clinic? You are going to have to do a lot of footwork for anything worthwhile here in Qatar.
