Eid holidays from Sept 28

THE Eid al-Fitr holidays for ministries and government departments will start from September 28 (Sunday) and end on October 6 (Monday), an official statement said in Doha yesterday.
“As for public institutions, Eid holidays will start on September 28 and end on October 5, a Qatar News Agency report said quoting a circular issued by HE Sheikh Nasser bin Mohamed bin Abdulaziz al-Thani, the minister of state for cabinet affairs.
The Eid holidays for banks, financial institutions and the Doha Securities Market will be for three days.
The Qatar Central Bank (QCB) will announce the start of the three days’ holiday, the circular said. – QNA

How ome everyone gets like 5 days or something, and we're getting 3 days (of course subject to the moon, this may shift forward or less)

But we've just gotten our Saudi visa, and we are driving off to Oman, last month we drove from Dubai to Oman, quite liked it, so this time we do the trip starting from Doha.
