Its not the wireing...its the socket..

(ignore any pun)

The female socket is loose so when a male plug is inserted there is loose contact between the pins and there are sparks also due to which on most plugs there is a black cut like mark visible.

Usually the plug melts and sometimes become unplug-able.

These sparks could lead to fire if there are anything inflameable nearby like newspaper, tissue box/role etc

The remedy is quite simple. The female  socket pins have to be molded with a Nose-Plier so as to form a concave shape. So that the male pin irrespective of the size fits like a glove into the female socket.

I wonder why they are not being manufactured in a concave shape.

Recently I brought 5 -  3pin adpaters from India and thats the end of the loose contacts. People were wondering why one is taking electric sockets to Gulf .

How was yr holiday?

I faced the same problem too. The other day, there was a smoke coming out of my kitchen light...and that was really scary. Wondering why the mainswitch don't turn off.

JhunBug..that expain why my light bulb blows so often.

in most villas, electrical wiring were not properly grounded.. so everytime there is a power surge or overload a light bulb blows up or an outlet get shorted.. I change at least 5 light bulbs a month in my villa and there's nothing I can do about it.
