Even Transformers 2 toys are delayed in Qatar

Last time I remember buying that big Bumblebee toy was January of 2008...which was 6 months after it was screened in Qatar theaters (July 2007). Back home from my vacation distributors are starting to sell the toys a month before the screen opening.

God! Is there anything around here that isnt delayed? Is "delay" a standard operating procedure in Qatar?
