well after the hard wind blowing and sands got to my lung, now i have cough. any of you have similiar symptom???

I have recovered from fever, but cough has not left me

This is very good season in medical business.Doctor and chemist always wish for this season.
The sheila is the shawl type of item that all women wear here. It can be black (local) or colored (indian or northern arab) You can get them anywhere. The pretty ones you can get it the Idian store. Try Bombay Silk - upstairs. Or if you want more traditional in any shop where they make habaias.

hehehehe..and i was googling already the gutrah and aghal...saw only men wearing those...now i have to goole how sheila looks.. thank you for the suggestion though..

aisha with your "if you have to go out, keep your mouth closed, breath through your nose" comment ...during that only time i went out (to the grocery)...i was laughing hard with a friends joke...that's how i inhale lots of dust/sand..as after im done with the grocery...severe coughing took place.. my fault and my friends fault..lol
mila with your line of work..you should have a maintenance of anti-histamines.. :)

The head gear protect nose and mouth.. So maybe during sandstorms you should wear gutrah & Aghal........

A lot of people get allergies when it is so dusty. One has to learn to live with it. Either you stay inside the house...... or if you have to go out, keep your mouth closed, breath through your nose and keep a shawl or some cloth in front of your nose to protect it from the sand. Now you know why the women and men have head gear. This is to protect them from the dust.....

Owen, I work on NDIA projec site, of course full of dust and sand. Every day i exposed to these thing. hik hik hik... wish i had different job, but i love my team and my boss. they are just the best.

was coughing during the wind blowing (with sand!) as i went out just to do my grocery...by then, i resort of not going out until the wind stops...
guess you were expose to too much dust/sand... but i still do cough once in a while...
we ought to get anti histamines, as advise by a friend...
