Please can someone help fix the fire alarm system in Ezdan Tower & Suites, West Bay. It went off again last night. This has been an ongoing problem for many years and is a great annoyance and safety hazard. The management obviously doesn't care anymore.
When I asked the front desk why the fire alarm goes off all the time they told me it was a technical fault and needs to be repaired. This doesn't sound like burned toast. I have burned a few things in my oven and the alarm did not go off.
The fire alarm is automatically triggered when smoke is detected in any apartment. In most cases it is caused by someone cooking or burning toast .. It soon stops :O)
I enjoyed staying in Ezdan last year. I loved the place. But in just the one year I was there I noticed it going down hill. I returned to visit someone recently, and it's got worse.
I didn't see any fire trucks there this morning..I left at 7 AM, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have another fire in Ezdan. Whoever designed the buildings was an amateur and had a budget of 1 M.

I would prefer the alarm to go off, then be silent when a fire actually occurs..
so each time the smoke alarm goes, it could be someone cooking. One day someone will be cooked.....

Sounds typical. That must have been why I had no hot water again....
It simply is too dangerous to live in anything higher than one floor. Move out guys!
well, last week a boiling water pipe exploded over my room's false ceiling.. at 1:00am
I ran for my life.. u can imagine how my room was flooded in no time.. and also the electric sparks sounds above the ceiling (the a/c)
Ezdan management team know nothing about safety..
