F1 - What will Alonso do now?

Forget about the wars and strife. A serious issue is developing.

WHO WILL ALONSO DRIVE FOR NEXT YEAR ?

With Ferrari locking in Massa and Raikonen and McLaren sticking with their two, will Alonso stay at Renault or go to BMW as rumoured. That will probably mean a push for Heidfeld..

Any thoughts ?

He just won back to back races...and his market just shot up..Renault wants to keep him and Honda wants him badly...

I think he should stick with Renaul as the car is improving and if SIngapore was luck..Japanese gp was his talent...Honda will never give him a better car..and Ross brawn needs another 2 years to get the team up in the A league...

"Sport Bild claims the Santander-Ferrari-Alonso deal includes the sponsor's lettering on the drivers' overalls and front and rear wing signage, as well as a €30 million-per-year contribution to the 19-time grand prix winner's retainer. Santander boss Emilio Botin was present at last weekend's British Grand Prix"

well it can be true or just rumours... but Raikonen is failing to deliver for what he is paid...

Last week, the commentator on F1 Monza informed Alonso just signed a new contract with Renault for another year.

Satander have already said that there is no linkage between the move to Ferrari and Alonso.

I would tend to think that he will stay at Renault..BMW , will probably try and keep Heidfeld because he is German.

I think Alonso might sit in Renault for another year, i think they have a better car next year, but as Satender is going to Ferrari in 2010, maybe Raikonen would get kicked out soon....
