Fake doctor injected cement to enhance looks

Princess Arora
By Princess Arora

Have you ever heard of a doctor who injected a toxic mix of cement, aerosol and super glue to her patient's body to enhance looks?

A fake doctor named Oneal Ron Morris was alleged for pumping these toxic materials into live human bodies!

Its a great lesson for those who wish to go under a knife in order to adorn their looks. Anyhow, don't you think that you should be happy with the way God has created you?

nomerci: what if a person from the west speak up on this topic? What will be your reaction then?

I have seen controversial topics relating to plastic surgery (and low self esteem) among the westerners being aired on American talk shows. So, what do you have to say on that?

nomerci: I am not bashing the west and I have no intention for the same. Its called "stating the facts".

razz77: Ever heard of a woman named Sarah Burge (of British nationality) who was responsible for holding the world record for cosmetic procedures in order to transform herself into a living doll?

By nomerci• 17 Dec 2011 21:02

Razz, ask them. I do not know the answer to that question.

I suppose it is a personal thing, a choice people make for themselves. Who am I to judge what they do to their bodies?

ok .. for a minute we agree that we are wrong. just give a good justfication , why would they need injections to enhance their flesh at certain parts only.

the citizens in western side have the habit of follow celebrities.. instead working on their physic , they tend to go in short cuts in making them look like celebs and new generation so called cosmetic doctors are there to cash.

Princess Aroroa...have you been to Lebanon or Latin America?

razz77: Its astonishing how one of the most advanced nation in the world falls victim of low self esteem. If you conduct an extensive study, you will be able to find that majority of population (in the US) is a prey for eating disorders. They intensely desire for the enthralling beauty of celebrities. ultimately, they get dissatisfied with their looks which leads them think about surgical procedure to enhance their looks.

I can't agree more with what Segmund has mentioned: " It is also true that sometimes some patients do NOT have the physical flaw which they believe they have. But then that is another mental disorder which needs to be treated in its own right."

By Segmund• 17 Dec 2011 20:34

Often times there is a mental health problem with many people who go for cosmetic surgery. But again that does not mean all of them. It is best to seek two or more doctors' opinion before embarking on surgery.

logic is good when used for life , but goes ackword when they want to increase buttocks etc...

By Princess Arora• 17 Dec 2011 20:32

drsam: I also agree with Segmund. If you have a genuine reason, its okay to go under the knife. What I am saying here is the fact that some people unnecessarily opt for surgery even though they have no significant defect in them.

@ princess aurora

i agree with segmund. think of all the people who do braces (orthodontics) or cleft palate, or those who for breast cancer has her breasts removed,...

You guys are giving out a wrong message altogether. It is very important to beware of quacks as they can cause major harm, injury or death to people seeking help from them. However, this never means people should not seek help.

What a silly logic have you guys got there! Of course, we should be happy with how God created us. But if someone has an abnormal heart valve and if the only way to save life is through surgery, should the person still be happy with how he is made? Treatment for illness is sunnah.

Similarly, if someone has squint, or has any other problem as to their appearance they have every right to correct it.

It is also true that sometimes some patients do NOT have the physical flaw which they believe they have. But then that is another mental disorder which needs to be treated in its own right.

If someone has a genuine cosmetic problem, seeking and offering correction is completely alright.
