Farewell Qatar! I'm so sad to be leaving :o(

Just wanted to thank everyone on QL (those I've met and those I haven't) for making our stay in Doha so very enjoyable.

I really hope this is an au revoir, rather than a goodbye. We shall be trying very hard to find work back here in Qatar but I fear the economic climate may be against us.

I'll keep up with QL whilst in the UK, but it will never be the same as being 'on the spot'.

Thanks again for all the fun and friendship both on and off the screen!

Logging off now to go to the Airport.

xx

my workout partner, partner in crime (usually which involved laughing until we were crying) and just in general good friend...I will miss you. Thanks for all the stuff you gave me because each time I see something, I think of you and the good times..

You BETTER get back here...Doha is a much more boring place without your smile.

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.

make it out to be.

Strange isn't it, that it takes perhaps a minute to say hello , but forever to say goodbye?

Best wishes!

You can't leave....we didn't have lunch yet!

Thanks for granting me the rights to the name "Monthly Monday Munch". Your check is in the mail, darlin! :-D

Good luck to you, and if the winds ever blow you back this way, I hope we'll get a chance to meet... no doubt I will STILL be here...... Au revoir!

and God bless. Thanks for sharing your ideas and opinions with us. They were entertaining, informative, sometimes controversial but valuable thoughts from someone with years of experience here in the Middle East.

I hope that you continue to be happy wherever you may be and the Good Lord bless you and your family always.

As you say, until we meet again....
