I know what you mean about "Bush", same here with "Blair"

But has per D Robertson writing in 1986:

"Democracy is the most valued and also the vaguest of political terms in the modern world"

The end of an era?

I doubt that will happen any time soon.

His brother and villains still in power, the island still a communist strong hold, choking its people.

50 years of revolution does not go away overnight.

I know that, because I lived my life surrounded by those bastards with their stupid ideologies of marxism and stalinism.

The bottom line is that Fidel Castro is on its last days on earth.

I hope he burns and rots in hell when he dies.

Screw him.....

Don't be fooled. Communism is a form of dictatorship.  Think China. And Cuba for that matter.

thanks for your comments. But which would you'd rather have, equal or majority?

I'm still undecided!

but you have to remember one thing!

Communism :

Is everyone is equal:

Democracy:

One man one vote but the majority rule.

Could you explain it to me and everyone in this forum?  What are and why is the real cause of the american isolationism of Cuba? My eyes are wide open and willing to read your writings.  We both have lived pretty much lived the same era, but you was never exposed to the realities of your own nation in becoming a  communist  country like I did. Gladly,  it never materialized.  They lost their influence and push at the voting polls 7 times. Their political party is currently and always be a minority group. Every four years their voting numbers are reduced, barely holding their right to the electoral party vote by a few hundreds not thousands. The Red Pope of Qatar Living

Strong words Red Pope. Out of interest, if you had to choose, would you have him burn or rot? Or some kind of burning/rotting combination? And at what point would you then like to screw him? Each to their own, I suppose. Nice to see such typical respect for human life from the anti-Castro mob! :-)

You should have told me  to join you there.

I can imagine what you are talking about in relation to the old buildings. But mind you, such buildings can become a treasure if they were properly renovated.

I went there on holiday for three weeks it was great and travelled all around, what was very disappointing is the way the old buildings were delapitated, whereas a museum for Fidel was kept in super condition - that museum showing his boots car and gun and parts of his uniform lol.

Heaven for old American cars and goodness they know how to fix them and make them run.
