I want the input of all of you on the impact of the world financial crisis on your home countries. Is what we see in the news true? typical news propaganda?

What do you think would happen next?

I am sure you must be worried about your savings and investements back home. which is quite serious an issue to think and act upon...

1. Make sure you have your saving sin a nationalised bank.

2. Economic experts advise to have the wealth in the form of cash

3.Real estate market may crash.. sell it off if you get good rate and keep it as cash.

There are reverse forecasts too.. which claims the mutual fund investers who lost almnost 50% of their investemnt have withdrawn billions and might start re investing in the real estate, which might hold the market steady. God knows.

I Think the USA is the country with the greatest impact from this crisis...Poor tax-payers have tough years ahead.

I am concerned since Qatar is directly tied by currency with the U$ Dollar then this could also make it worse for Qatar

Analysts warn against a global recession...I dont think this would happen...people nowadays have moved from the saving-culture to save-and-invest...so there will always be the tendency to invest and it wont be long before we see stock markets going up again

this is the best time to work here in the middle east and enjoy the tax-free salary. Maybe the cost of living is high but comparing it with your salary, much much better than home country.
