Five Qatar residents, including four members of a Jordanian family, were killed in a road accident yesterday in Saudi Arabia, some 50km away from the Qatar border.
Gulf Times’ sister publication Arrayah Arabic daily’s advertisement department employee Saleem Daghlas, 46 (pictured), his wife, their two sons aged 15 and 12, and an Indonesian housemaid were the victims.
The couple’s two daughters, aged six and five, survived the accident which happened when their SUV flipped over.
The group was driving back to Qatar from Jordan, where they had spent their annual vacation.
Daghlas had joined Arrayah in March 2004.
