there's a majority of Hindus here & it can't be celebrated. Wish Doha could be more open with religious (or other) celebrations, I think most would not mind the more parties

Remember remember the fifth of November

Gunpowder treason and plot

I see no reason why gunpowder treason

Should ever be forgot

Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes

Twas his intent

To blow up the King and the Parliament

Three score barrels of powder below

Poor old England to overthrow

By God's providence he was catched

With a dark lantern and a burning match

I have been told that fireworks are illegal here. The only things you may be able to get is some sparklers.. We had some the other night..

As far burning Guy Fawkes and Bon fire nite it out of the question if some one is doing it it must be private and secret I suppose..

Remember, remember, the 5th of November...i doubt there is...Hindu's Diwali festival was celebrated without even a single firecracker, what more 5th of November?

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!
