Hassles involved in renting a house.

I have been hunting around for a flat for 2 weeks and all I get to see are re-rented flats with hiked up rents.

Am surprised that there are more un-licensed brokers/real estate agents than licensed agents/companies.

Asked a unlicensed real agent who so happened to be a lady: Which company do you work for?

Answer: None. Work on a free lance basis. And it certainly ain't your business. If you like the flat, just give me the advance. And for your info, we do not issue receipts.

What ever happened to customer service / satisfaction/ care?

When I first came to doha i rented through homes 2 rent, a british led company. You can contact them at www.homes2rent.biz.

Always got good service, receipts and my damage deposit back when I moved out.
