HELP!!!!
Hi guys,
there was an ad in the classifieds section yesterday by 2 guys regarding a special deal on 2 BR
aprtmnts for 5500 QR.well,we saw thw apartment liked the place and gave an advance of 10000QR and
signed the contract.The guy concerned, a Mr. mohammed who has given his number in the ad gave us a receipt
for the same.and asked us to call back today for the keys to the apartment.We have been trying to call him
up since today morning-to no avail.he is just not picking up his phone .I just wanted to find out if anybody
else here has any dealings with him on the same apartment and has any contact with him??i just hope that
we have not lost our money :(

Strange nothing is safe in this world, people thought that this place being an GCC state would have fear in hearts of people but cheaters are cheaters.

I called Ayman and he said that there is some problem with the owner may be that is the reason Mr. Mohammed is not picking up the call. Anyhow as Mafiriyals said send an SMS and tell him that you are going to report to the police. No one can escape in Doha.

he is a Real Estate agent for years, and he is a good guy. I don't know Mohammed though.. try to call Ayman and ask him about Mohammed and about this flat...
send a SMS to him saying "if you don't answer the call within 5 minutes, we will lodge a police Report and we are already at the police station"
if he doesn't answer report staright to Centra Security Division"
BTW - you should have a copy of his ID

Did you pay him by check or cash? If it was a check could you go to your bank and stop payment?
Perhaps you could go to the apartment building and see the manager. Maybe he will know who this guy is.
