The internet news and weather functions on the Wii are obviously nothing near as good as on the internet but it is possible to preview, order and download games on-line
is not a Sony product and a Nintendo one. You will find it in these shops and stores:
1- Virgin in Villagio - Selling Price: between 1700 to 1800 Q.R
2- City Center - Selling Price: around 1700
3- Al Saqer Entertainment around all the city [Merqab Street, Markiyah] is between 1700 to 1900 Q,R
4- Technical Care Center - [Giant Stores - Merqab Street] Selling Price:1750 to 1900.
Prices varies depending sometimes on the packages. Look for the NTSC as it had more supported games than PAL, Beside Technical Care Center in Merqb Street there is one shop call Productivity or something, they also sell Wii.
Your best option would be to go to Merqab Street and buy [you can check Falcon - Technical and Productivity in the same time].

I got mine about a year back when I was in the States...
Armed with a GPS and a mobile phone, I was calling up the closest malls to see if they were available (while on a road trip in my friend's car)
it might be hard to believe but we would have called up about a 100 stores...
once I got a tip off that the nearby Toys R Us had 30 pieces, in the half an hour it took me to get there... they were all gone...
I finally got mine from a Target store and that too after I went inside the customer service desk and made a fuss...

Wii is a slow moving product in doha compared to ps3 and x360.so in doha thw availability is different then wherever the reasearch was on.

the shortage is not in the Middle East. I doubt it anyway.
