QR2,500? yes, you can get a room. But if you want a flat with 2-bedrooms, it will range from QR4k-QR7k.

your 2,500 could be a small unfurnished room sharing everything.
4 to 5,000 could get you unfurnished independent 1br, with own sharing kitchen, own sala, no parking.
6,000 could get you your unfurnished solo 1br, kitchen, sala & maybe a decent parking.
7,500 could get you unfurnished 2 br, etc.
9,000 could get you 3br unfurnished , own flat, complete.
9,500 above could get you furnished, etc.
these are the real on-going rate.
