I have a friend visiting Doha and want to show around, have heard Pearl is a good place to walk and take some pics, how do I reach Pearl and are there some passes that we need to buy to enter and where do we get these passes ?
Cheers MM, it is a bit of a maze up there but a lot of it is now well developed. Medina Centrale is nice for food etc and a picture or two. Might be a tad warm for a walk around Porto Arabia, maybe visit at night?
As Brit says take the road up past West Bay past Katara and it's on the right hand side from the Zig Zag towers. You can't miss it there's 2 huge darlek looking towers at the start of it.
There's public parking inbetween the towers, if you can work out where you are head for Shakespeare's in Porto Arabia. Viva Bahraia is still being built and Qanat Quartier doesn't have a lot of shops. BUT it is great for scenery. PM me if you need any additional info.
