How a woman spends her perfect day

By Good old joe

An ideal day for a woman includes at least 56 minutes of shopping, 82 minutes relaxing and a further 46 minutes napping, a bare 36 minutes working, 33 commuting, 50 minutes spent preparing food, 75 actually eating it and about 106 minutes spent on "intimate relations," a survey has revealed.

The extensive survey, carried out by top scientists in the US and Germany

The researchers surveyed more than 900 women, average age 38, in employment. The women were questioned about how they spent their day and how they felt about it.

I am not sure which part is making women go hyper...36 min of working or 106 min of IR...:) Take it with a pinch of salt ladies... enjoy such surveys as to know how some women would be living their lives without taking it personally...:) We all know most of you on QL are adorable...:)

Whilst i do find it slightly humorous, i think you missed the gist of the exercise...

The researchers worked out the make-up of a perfect day based on 16 waking hours. The results show that were people to be entirely self-indulgent and hedonistic, they would spend 619 minutes a day in intimate relationships, 103 minutes socialising and 74 minutes relaxing. They would spend no time working or commuting, and only two minutes on housework, and another two minutes with the children.

However, the optimal day contains 16 different activities, each taking between 33 and 106 minutes. More time was spent on people-centred activities than on money-making projects. According to the results, it is better to divide the day up into smaller packages of things you like to do, partly to avoid boredom.

Nothing new , you may say - but such is the way with surveys and psycho babble..

I find it very hard to believe that women would only want to spend 2 minutes with their kids....ok maybe if the kids are teenagers....

What constitutes "intimate relations?" Are they talking about sex? Or are they talking about spending time with your family, cause I don't see that there, and I can't imagine many 38 year old women in "employment" don't consider family time as important.

TB, all these articles originate in the Daily Mail. Which hates women.

There should be a survey for such surveys conducted and if the survey of survey calls it BS then those who conducted it should be personally escorted to a no mans land with no exit permit...:(
