Sure Buttfly, you are more than welcome to join us anytime. :D
arrived few days ago, or a week...dunno, feels like I arrived an eternity ago!
you, three beatiful intelligent funny ladies (and rich!), please next time you go out for a quick coffee to the city center or something let me know, I'll be so happy to join in for a quick chat...
I say quick because I will have to take my daughter with me, have noone to leave her with here in Doha yet...
Thanks Buttfly! Are you in Doha yet?
My weekend was a little boring...didn't do much outdoors, but managed to go for a walk yesterday evening in The corniche...Now, that was a sweaty experience!
Also got a new laptop, which I'm still trying to set up.
Did lots of shoppig and things around the house...
Very boring, I know.
BY THE WAY< HAPPY BIRHTDAY CAT!!!!
She is busy QC posting on here lol :P
DG haven't you just told me 2 minutes ago that you are BUSY?
Do you really expect me to talk to you after this?
Yes, but you'll get used to it.
Does that mean i have to be doing my "beating guys off with a stick" routine wherever we go?
All three of us are the whole package. Add rich and successful to that too.
which of you is beautiful, who is intelligent and who is funny :P
Come on GIASI, we are all dying to put a face to the cynic. When else will you get a chance to go out with 3 beautiful, intelligent, funny ladies.
Bullshake, I don't know anything about Super's luggage, I haven't seen it yet. Maybe you can get him measure it?
Whatever happens can you PLZ PLZ PLZ have it done after the 16th? Ill be back from China by then and speaking of Ill be leaving on Tuesday so to the QL community Ill miss you guys and while Im gone dont do anything I wouldnt do
:-P
Oh & 1 more thing....HAPPY BIRTHDAY QC! SANA HILWA YA GAMEEL :-P
:)
but if work (long hours on week days) makes it manageable to organise something, it'll be a pleasure to take care of it !
christophe
hope ur idea to organize a party in d middle of the dessert pushes through..that's kinda kewl, like dune bashing in the daylight then partying at nighttime!heard the desert sky is quite a sight at night. goodluck!
Hya,
Well ... i definitively didn't find anything like an after party in london or madrid, where you go home, have a shower, and have lunch ... !
But yet 3 am something is feasible apparently ...
Paloma : Thrusdays 3 am, Fridays 2 am
Admirals : we just tried it once (the new door keeper - black guy, I dunno his name- is really friendly, I think) but we left after 2 and it was not closed
Pearl : yesterday evening we left at 3 something ... I heard that in "good nights" it does not accept clients anymore but it goes on partying inside ... no idea whether it's true, since my understanding is that it might also be illegal ... (btw this place is great fun !!!!! loved the sound there / the girls looked very good / Roxana is really nice / and it's so cool to have a night club where the barmen actually know how to do good cocktails !!! only though some of the mixes of the Dj are not as clean as you can expect it to be)
But I crossed checked all possible sources and there seems to be absolutely no commercial party after 3. So ... the idea is to have a private party - but without having neighboors. Also it's possible to rent the upper floor of the Pearl (well Roxana said so yesterday) but not sure it's possible to make the party last longer in this case
Next WE most probably in Dubai, and probably Peppermint. I liked Trilogy last time I was there but still quite few girls (and some of them are obviously there for commercial reasons). I'd like to try this place called IBO (not sure it spells like this) ... anyone knows it ?
Cheers,
Christophe
did u find urself a party that wont end by 2 am? just curious..was reading through old threads
thanks for the info.
I always take the plane. No paperwork at all, but i have a british passport and visa is given on arrival (includes 32 other nationalities). If you are not one of the exempted nationalities its different. In theory, if you are resident in Qatar you should get a visit visa on arrival in the UAE but this doesnt strictly apply. Depends on your nationality, job title and theres a difference between entering through dubai and abu dhabi.
Maybe some members who have experienced this process can be more helpful.
scene from sex in the city springs to mind actually..lol!ack..forgot ur a guy!..but still:P
hi! you said you usually go to the UAE for your weekends, and I was wondering if there are a lot of paperworks involved in getting a visit visa there? or is that not going to be a problem if you have a residnet visa? how do you get there? do you drive? or take the plane? sorry for the bother.
Me and the three most sarcastic, cynical women in doha? i dont stand a chance. Images of christians being thrown to the lions spring to mind.
Dg's got full year to think of another way to embarrass u qc, sounds challenging!lol
I have to note that "embarrassing" birthday party wasn't embarrassing. DG just tried her best to embarrass ME on my party by getting a bunch of waiters to put a huge sombrero hat on my head and sing Happy Birthday. I wasn't embarrassed.
:P
QTEL, i really meant his luggage as i am supposed to get into it!i promise!:))))
sounds kewl dg...at least it isnt ur typical parking lot adventure!lol! and uve met super7!is his luggage really large??hahaha!
Oh and this weekend I went to a really boring party, followed by Rugby Club, followed by a day at the beach with Super7, who is actually quite charming in real life and is followed around by a haram of pretty girls, followed by Cat's embarrasing b-day party and a really crappy night out trying to find a decent bar.
Typical weekend.
Don't be depressed GIASI, if you want to you can come out with Cat and Fish and I this weekend. That's not depressing at all. :D
not that i dont symphatize...but glad u r properly stocked up with rants for ur blogs:P i totaly symphatize though and would be an active fundraiser should i get there for ur cause to promote the use of deodorants!
Uneventful. Usually go to the UAE but not this weekend. toyed with the idea of going out but decided that i had already collected enough crap this week to keep me adequately depressed for the weekend. :P
ur weekend i mean of course:P
what changed for u in the five years that uve been there? i cant imagine myself in one place for more than two yrs max..after reading the posts in QL, i am mentally preparing myself to sign away my ovaries if i go there...hahaha!
*serious interview squint*
i love shoes in general but can only admire sexy heels from afar, i cant smile when im wearing one!lol!
ur lucky to have ur bday on a holiday, have much time to recover from hangovers or whateverelse activity u indulged in:P
When will I learn to read the WHOLE posts??
I've been here for four and a half years. Oh, actually almost 5 now.
And thank you guys for Bday wishes :)
I am lucky as in Qatar my Bday is always a day off.
Haha Bullsshake when you come over we'll take care of ya.
Oh and it was just Furla, not Choos and not Blahniks, but still AWESOME and with killer heels to rival Choos! :D
happy bday qc, may u have all the choos and blahniks to your hearts content!lol!
if i go giasi, i will guard the grocery lines for u and make sure nobody cuts the line!
still buying time:) if i go my post there is gonna take years... how long have u been there?
yes bullshake, when are you coming? and Happy Birthday Senora QC ;)
Bullsshake, when are you coming over?
