I just came from the Fire scene .... Roof of the Building under construction in Abdul Azizi area (area name not conifrmed) oppt Mansoura (Aftron Showroom)

The fire spread in several building and small houses due to strong wind which carry fire balls to neighboring houses and buildings...

I will upload photos shortly.

No news of any casualty .....

May God save all human lives.

It was like "FIRE RAIN" .... small fire particles falling from the construction building ... also burning scaffolding from the roof was falling on the cars ... garbage drums were on fire ...

I saw one balcony in a house caught fire and we immediately started throwing water with the buckets and got the fire under control.

I was surprised to see the Roof of the Aftron building caught fire which was very far for the construction building ... ;-/

Alhamdulilah (Thanks GOD) fire did not spread or got worsen in other building/ houses otherwise it could have been a disaster !!!

We should Salute to the Firemen who struggled in the intense heat and brought down the fire in time ... also we should appreciate the help of people who were trying to extinguish the fire with the water in bucket, without them firemen job would have been more difficult !

I was there yesterday going to a resturant in that area and there were 3 buildings on fire. I personally beleive it would've been stopped had the fire fighter arrived on time. The building under construction no one could reach to but the other 2 smaller buidlings, ppl were throwing buckets of water to stop the fire. For 3 diffrent fires only one fire truck was dispatched, that too arrived late. I just hope that no one was hurt.

there is no human loss in this tragedy...

this kind of accident just tell us how badly the inner city is planned..the movement of fire trucks is really diffcult in that area..

Yes you are right this area is mostly occupied by Pakistani communities ... yesterday I parked my car under the same building which caught fire today... there is a special BBQ shop which is very popular and very old in Doha, I take my family once or twice a month to eat special BBQ :-)

Only the problem was that the fire was spreading into other houses ... i was 3 other buildings and four small houses caught fire ....

Several fire/ police vehicle arrived within few time !

I could not stand for 10 mins due to intense heat and also police disbursed everyone from the area due to fire balls (card boards/ other construction material which caught fire were falling down on the street..
