Hyundai Altos 2008

I saw an advert on today's (05/05/08) Gulf times about Hyundai Altos 2008 with a starting price of QR28,999.I am interested in the car as long as i can use it for a minimum of 3 years. What advice can wonderful people in this forum give on Hyundai cars?

Pls don't tell me to buy Toyota,Honda or Mazda.I just need a new car that i can use without any major problems for 2-3 years.I don't wanna bother much about resale value but do concern about after sales service, readily available spare parts and efficiency in this hot summer months of July and August.

Any inputs/advice will be highly appreciated.

Vignale, yeah you're right.I don't care about resale value as long as i can use it for a minimum of 3 yrs without any major mechanical problems and as long as the after sales service and spare availability.

All in all, what do u guys think? To be or not to be?

Keep the advice rolling.

Thank you all.Sorry,I made a mistake. The car in question is Atos 2008.I'm not sure if it's Hyundai or Suzuki. But it has Air bags,Auto transmission,Keyless entry etc  and the advert is on today's Gulf times(5/5/2008).

I think i will check it out at the showroom and see from there.

All the best bros.

Keep the inputs/advice coming.

Hyundai After sales service is pretty fast and ok. also most of the service you can get it done in the service centre in the city and dont have to go to industrial area!!!!

hi dude,

There's nothing called Hyundai Altos, May be you are referring to Hyundai Autos.

if it's ALTO(1.3CC) it might be SUZUKI ALTO... and its just a manual car. Check it before you buy because for the present traffic condition itsn't worth buying a manual gear. The best thing is to start atlest with 1.6 CC preferably 1.8CC.
