Just be true and loyal, it will pay you ripe fruits. Companies do this very often be patient.

If you went to the Labour Court and they have accepted your case, then surely they will get you justice. Most people posting their comments have possibly not had the experience of going to the Labour Court. They can, and do bring erring employers down to their knees. I have seen many cases where the Labour Court has forced the company to pay employees their dues. I have heard companies getting blacklisted. If there is an absence of rule of law, companies such as yours will treat workers as slaves but that is not the case here in Qatar. However, do keep in mind that if your employer sees that it would be in trouble, they may turn "sweet" on you and plead you to withdraw your case promising you that the matter would be settled amicably. It would be a BIG mistake if you withdraw your case as once you do this, you cannot file the case again if your company renegades on its promise which most likely it would. Yes, it is true as commented in one post above that it will take several months for the case to come up for hearing at the Court (not the Labour Court) and for it to give you the verdict. That waiting period is what you need to keep in mind and work out.

Good that you filed a complaint with labour court. Teach them a good lesson.

Asad, It is an uphill task now for you , you will be fighting an un-matched battle with your former employer. QLers like Brit won't help in any way ..............

I feel sad for you, since this sort of abuse is uncalled for but not surprising.

You have taken the right steps .. Hope you win ..

Deal with it bro.Good u are following it the legal way. You are just facing what most Indian employers do to their employees too.

Most companies managed by Egyptians and Indians face these issues. Its a personal thing though
