I guess vodafone service is unprofessional
Dear Sir,
I would like to complain regarding a bad service from Vodafone. I have a number xxxxx with a flexi plan of 35riyals with auto debit from my Master card. My account has reached a certain level and I received an SMS that i will be creditted soon. Another day passed and I reached a zero balance account and I was not credited and I cannot make calls.
I called customer care, the rep (lady) didn’t know why i was not credited and the lady mentioned that I have to wait for 48 hours to get recharged. I replied that i cannot wait for 48hours and the immediate solution is to change my flexi plan to 55riyals. I gave her all the credit card information and the problem is not resolved.
I called 3 times each 2 hours and all the rep mentioned that the problem is on hold and it will be resolved soon.
At the 4th time calling (after 7 hours waiting), the rep (another lady) stated that Vodafone have an upgrade on the system and my account will not be recharged until 48hours.
Conclusion:
(problem 1) I was not recharged automatically and I don’t know why.
(problem2) I was told that if changing my plan, I will have immediate solution. I was charged on the credit card (confirmed by my bank) and my account is not credited.
All i can say regarding the above is that this is a bad service from voda and voda has lied on me. Thank you voda for being lawful as you have always mentioned and hope my problem will be resolved as until this moment, no result and i am not able to make any call.

I should admit that my problem is resolved. However, i really want to know what is that technical issue that would need a specific timing to get resolved. in general, a technical problem will take a margin of time and will be resolved within this margin and not at a specific time during the day.
That means, my problem was not taken into high priority as VODA stated, they just sent it into a normal procedure technical issue which will resolve same problem or similar as mine at a specific time.
this is really unprofessional and would really like to know: WHAT DO YOU CALL IT "LEGALLY" if you pay for a service and you don't get it.
life has not given many choices but Qatar communication have given you two choices.
Regarding above issue, have you checked your credit card number, expiry etc, or recently changed your cc.
I have 2 vodafone lines, touchwood, have no issues so far

I am working in the call centre, Tajereb as I mentioned on facebook and from Vodafone care address I am looking into this issue and we will have it resolved as soon as we can. I am very sorry about the delay and I know you dont want excuses. I will contact you later today with an update.

shanawazt does not work for Vodafone. Has someone on facebook not sorted out your problem? They fixed my problem straight away.
@Showstopper, is your credit card set up for online? mine wasnt until i talked to my bank and they fixed it up and its all ok now.
No man, nothing is resolved until now. i still cannot make calls and i am using my qtel to make calls to voda lines and intl which it is costing me so much.
By the way i mentioned to the rep that u could offer me a solution like offering me another line which i will grab from eg. "villagio" until their tech problem is resolved, so the rep replied, sorry sir we cannot do this.
So, as from now, you have to pray not being a victim of vodafone problem because themselves cannot give u a solution. u just have to wait until their system wakes up again and pay your expenses while they r playing at their side.
we thought its resolved as someone from vodafone above.. "shanawazt" replied on behalf of vodafone.. so this isnt resolved yet???. hmmm.

Hi Guys, this post is a copy paste of my complain to vodafone and i emailed this to voda and beleive me, just like nothing happened, not even a reply or even a read receipt of my email. I guess their email of customer care is just another lie on the client.
I just wanted to to touchbase with anyone of you who have faced the same problem. However, this problem is still not resolved for the 2nd consecutive day.
I called voda even today to find out if they can find me a solution and the answer was: you will not be able to make calls sir until our technical problem is resolved.
I posted this comment on Qatar living just to know what do you call my problem legally.
This substandard customer service located elsewhere is pulling down vodafone reputation heavily. so its high time Vodafone looks into such damaging act to uphold customers interest. I am happy with vodafone service, but for their customer service and call drops. I too can understand on the call drops as they are still building their network, but as far as customer service, it got to be the selling point and not damaging alike now....
as a sincere customer we wish to see vodafone improve on these services.

well u know the customer service guys are not actually in qatar..most of them are from call centres located at different places..so what do u accept.I too had a problem, but vodafone representative in facebook presonally resolves to such issue immediately.

i can understand that why its network signals not good in qatar, it take time but why they not improve their customer service? most of the customer service rep (call center) don't know anything, not help ful, in QTEL service rep at least know about their products, but voda..!!!!!
Its happen to me so many times I took 3 freedom plan 2 plan for 35qr & 1 for 55 qr so many time s it was not re-charge on time when I call for 111 they will said I have no sufficient fund in my ATM which is impossibble its SSSSS
Speed I just thought he would be better off sending this letter to Vodafone customer service.
If the local guys aren't responding then send it via customer support center online.
I agree with tajereb. Their Customer Services is not up to standard.
i was told tht my back is not paying them tht y they hav temporary paused my account.....WTF vodafone?? i told enough money in my bank account tht guy said but Sir ur bank is nt release to vodafone.
