Learn the art of photography first and for that you don't really need a DSLR. Once you know what to do with a camera , you'll eventually know Nikon or Canon.

Depends on ur budget and wht kind of pictures u take. Trust me it is not abt the camera u use it is the person behind the camera tht makes it work.

There are so many specials on at the moment so u can get the D3100 for less than u quoted and yes tht is for some1 tht is starting. Try to get a full frame camera and something tht shoots 5 and up fps.

D300 or D300s check tht out, does everything u need it to do.

Well I was confused to buy which one. I have seen that camera price in Qatar is a bit high however its cheap back in Pakistan for example for instance take example of D3100 it is 2199QAR while in 1750-1800QAR and the difference goes high as u move up. Don't know why they are high here. But Still I went to store there is fuji film camera that is with integrated lens which costs QAR2999 and lens is 1cm-600mm is that good??

buy Nikon D3100, good for a beginner.. :)
