I have my residence permit but have never been given the ID card.

If I go to the immigration department for it, how long will it take and do I need to give them my passport as I'm going for an holiday in less than 2 weeks.

So.. you dont have your ID card right... ?

Dont worry...  always keep a photostat copy of your passport  ( first page, last page and the page where you have the visa stamped ) on your purse.

If ther is a checking, you can show that.

Just wondering where that was, I guess it's in the Marhaba though. I don't actually live within Doha so don't really know my way around

Can anyone tell me where you go to get an ID card?  I have been here for nearly 2 years, never got around to it. When I arrived they couldn't process it because machine was broken.
