He's just voicing what so many of us think when we go abroad for the first time. Especially when we experience cultures vastly different from the one we grew up in. Also Ricky Gervais purposely putting him in uncomfortable situations doesn't help ;P

I don't know if many on QL have watched the series, but it's brilliant. It may seem silly to many, but I can really relate to his commenst and thoughts..

LOL. I love this show. I've seen them all but Machu Picchu and Chitchinitza. India was probably the worse one because he was sick the whole time and it was just depressing. Egypt was pretty funny, but China is the best by far.

Brit I have a Sky subscription and a VPN to allow me to download Sky content. I have nearly finished watching all of them. He gives a perspective that I can associate with. I thought I was the only one on QL watching this series.
