The weather has been very nasty today.Dust storm every where....hot....humid.....sweating....cannot dare to go outdoors. I was just wondering if such weather condition prevails during FIFA 2022 what's gonna happen??

You are ofcourse correct. However, Blatter has been dropping hints and even Platini has intimated that "anything" is possible in order to ensure the safety of the supporters.

We'll just have to wait and see :O)

The bid book submitted was for a summer event. If they planned to have it in winter, they would have submitted a winter bid.

They specifically requested a summer window of dates, with the understanding that the stadiums will be air conditioned.

And yes, this is the time of year for the World Cup. Think about that when you are walking to your car this afternoon.

In a ll probability Winter schedule would be approved somewhere in the 2021...and that would be the smart way of doing it too...I mean just to disclose it to the world...:)

Didn't the FIFA 2022 people openly reject the winter schedule idea?

As per the rules, it should not be held in winter.. but it will have to be for the sake of the visitors..

It's not that the stadiums are gonna be air conditioned and no probs..........what about the people who come from outside.....how r they gonna manage......how will they reach the venues.....how they will enjoy their stay here.....that's most important

As much as it should not be held in the winter the clown that is Blatter will probably decide this. His fellow clown Plattini thinks that the European championships should be held in various European Cities.

Are the stadiums going to have roofs? You would think they would if they were going to air condition them to at least keep the cool air in!

A bit of dust isn't going to lead to any games being abandoned.

It will be held in the winter so now worries.

There is a proposal to have the games during winters, but still there is no confirmation on it as yet.....Summer is a time when westerners will like to enjoy the game with a bottle of beer in their hands and yelling support for their respective teams

The whole city gonna be airconditioned...prescence of dust becomes irrelevant...:)
