You know when I joined this site over 3 years ago it was a nice place to have a discussion and meet people and generally socialize. Now all the oldies but a few have gone or don't post much and the social aspect has flown out the window as most people are too afraid to run into some of the loonies on this site.
Sadly, this site is no a disgusting microcosm of today's world filled with Quran bashing retards and generally close minded ignorant jack assess.
So frankly, as I don't wish to argue with or have anything to do with people like that, I'm leaving.

QL was having a meaning for them. (Unfortunately I dont have so much time to socialize with you here). In the end if the people who are making QL, QL itself a place to meet, socialize; are not happy. There is not much to do. This place is used to be a community -of the people for the people-. Am I the one who always says that "I don't like politicians" ¿!? LOL
As you said Alexa its not saving mankind and if you are not happy spending your time here anymore, sometimes silence gives the best answer.
But people like Drac will miss you and others considering to leave for the same reason.

Thats ridiculous that people who were enjoying and having fun in QL are complaining and leaving, saying doesn't worth to stay anymore. I believe we have to consider our options very well before leaving. Let me give an example, reformists in Iran are suffering nowadays. Why? Because they did not do anything at the time that they could do. They could make a change but they did not care.
For me? I am not a very active member due to my work load. But I know many members who enjoy being here and are very active. So why not trying to make a change instead of just leaving. I can hear you, there are many closed minds, etc... But I think it worth to fight against it.

If you could read, you would see that she posted detailed reasoning for why she left. So rather than ignorantly and arrogantly assume to know her motives, you could just read them... at the top of the thread... yourself:

i was most active one and have stopped posting coz its more like jerk moron pathetic newbies have landed in with their awesomely nut kinda topics. I use to make 500- 700 points a week now barely 20 points a week.
