i dont know much about Haji but i do know if something tells you, to do something in life you have to go for it. It might be hard and challenging and be a scary prospect but you should definalty go for this. And from reading your posts which you have posted on QL there is no way your a bad person, we all do things which we regret and think we could have handeled situations better but we learn from them, it doesnt make you a bad person! You go girl!

But i still have the faith of being moslem..and i think i will be back and i have too..oh im so bad!

there is nothing to be embarased about wanting to do soemthing as important as umrah. you have the intention and that in itself is something very great.....i am scared to do hajj...i feel i am not ready for it.i feel i wont be able to brave it out and fear that i would be craving for french fries n burger over there.its not easy but it isnt difficult either.

but i had the oppurtunity to go for umrah and at that time i was a total wild bird (my family couldnt believe that i agreed to go for umrah)but today i crave to go for umrah once again.its a beautiful experience subhan'allah.

happy heart

Umrah is neither imperative (Fard) nor obligatory (wajib), but performing Umrah once in a life time is a Sunna. However, once or more than once, whenever it is performed, it fetches great rewards.

1- "The people who come to perform Hajj or Umrah are the guests of Allah because they visit His House on His Call; therefore, Allah grants them what they ask for"

2- "One Umrah becomes an atonement for the sins committed up to the next Umrah"

"The performance of `Umrah is expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous ones. And the reward for Hajj Mabrur (pilgrimage accepted by Allah) is nothing but Paradise." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 3, Book 27, Hadith no. 1)

By the grace of Allah, the post merciful, he has given you chance to visit the most precious land of Prophet S.A.S. May Allah forgive all your sins. And stay you on deen..Brother, Allah subhanawatallah will only call those people who are holding Iman is their hearts. Allahmdullilah he has given you a golden opportunity to say "Tauba" on all your sins.

According to Hadit..The Holy Prophet of Islam (S.A.W.) stated: Everyone who wants the world and the hereafter should perform hajj rituals.

Abdullah Ibn Fazl says: "I said to Imam Sadiq (A.S.) that I have too many debts, I have a big family and I can't afford the Hajj costs. Teach me a prayer. Imam stated: Say after each obligatory prayer: "May the blessings of Allah be upon Muhammad (S.A.W.) and his progeny, and pay my debts in this world and the hereafter."

I said to him, "I know what the worldly debts are but what are the debts of the hereafter?"

He said: "Hajj". The prophet of God (S.A.W.) looked at the strings of camels taking Hajis to the pilgrimage of God's House and said: They don't take steps unless it is taken as a good deed, they don't take steps unless it vanishes a sin of them. And when they finish their ceremony of Hajj, they will be told: "You have made a building, don't destroy it. Your sins are forgiven. From now on, do good deeds."

It's not at all, the question of What you knew about ISLAM..What you did in Past..Pretend infront of Allah that you are an innocent..whatever you did it was a mistake.. and now you wanna be stable on DEEN..Inshallah Allah will listen all your prayers..And brother.. Please dont forget all QL members in your prayers... Request:-)) I wish you a very happy journey!!
