Immigration status for Palestinians in USA ?

Tarsiers
By Tarsiers

I have a Palestinian friend who born and lived here in Qatar and just moved to USA to proceed his postgraduate studies in US. As per his knowledge, he thought that Resident Permit in Qatar expires and can't be renewed after one year of leaving the country, and for some reason the one year is over and he is still there. He just figured out that its been exactly one year since he left Qatar few days ago...Although he holds an Egyptian Travel Document for Palestinian Refugees, he still can not live in Egypt or even visit the country without prior visa processing. Now, what do you think he can do? Can he come back to Qatar, or should he just apply for immigration in the US and see what happens

shaktiiiiiiiii... its not about asian or african it s about rule....... and i knw that there is a rule but there are several conditions such as that the time period should be over 1 month (maximum) and one must hve valid reason etc etc... and if nothing works. discuss with and ask for help from any ShEiKh.... (best & typical solution)...

with an American passport than a travel document. He is only concerned because of his family and relatives in Qatar.

Regarding granting him and other Palestinians the citizenship, it is not true that it is impossible. I know many Qataris who are originally Palestinians and I know some who got the citizenship recently. Rumors also is telling that the rest will get it soon. But in my opinion, the American citizenship will serve him better than the Qatari one.

not a issue at all.. all you need to do is that go to immigration and explain them the whole situation and ask them for help.. definitely there will be a reason that why he do not come to qatar by mistake or any other reasons (exams etc)... Qatar immigration will allow him to enter but but all he need is to come as soon as possible coz if he wants to come after month they definitely they will not entertain u... and yup dont forget to renew his exit permit and take the print paper of exit permit from immigration and send it to ur freind...

Note: its for sure that coz of Holy Month of Ramzadan Qatar govt always become kind to its ppl.. so dont worry hope they will help u and will allow ur freind to come..

Better for him to apply for American citizenship, Qatar would be happy to get rid of another palestinian. Sad but true. He would never have a chance to get Qatari or any GCC citizenship, so he and his family would have this problem for the rest of his life. His life would be better in the US as well.

However to answer your question, I think immigration has to let him back in and renew his RP as he is stateless.

He better stay where he is and apply for immigration there. He can get the green card within less than 2 years and then come back to Qatar.

By the way, do not expect trolls or non Arabs to understand What you are saying because it might sound complicated for them. Mostly Arabs are the ones who can understand the status of Palestinians. Just ignore those mentally retarded who have nothing to do than personally attacking others.

What happened to your English. Why so bad. Your subject mentions 2 countries PALESTINE AND USA. Then in the context there are so many countries. QATAR, EGYPT, PALESTINE, USA.

Can you cut short and explain exactly what is the problem.
