IP address conflict
Can anyone help because I hsve been on the phone since 10pm to q-tel waiting to be connected. My vista laptop was connecting ok to the internet until this evening when we set up a desktop pc to the internet using a USB adapter. Now I am getting a msg -'Windows has detected an IP address conflict'. Qtel already told me to connect to TCP/IP/v4 last week but now it doesn't work.
It is not a QTEL problem it's the setting of your PC and Router.
If your router support DHCP then right click your network connection and edit your TCP/IP into automatic.
ryt click on connection properties and go to internet protocol (TCP/IP) and then click on properties and in the next window select obtain IP addresses automatically ..also below select obtain DNS server addresses automatically .. :)

use automatic settings on IP configuration.
