LOL novita, it's ok, it's ur right to rant every once in a while otherwise u'd go crazy in this country haha. It's sad that alot of kids aren't taught manners, I think that plays a role in the kind of drivers they become in the future. Speaking about ill-mannered kids, u know what pisses me off the most over here, it's when I see the nanny or maid taking care of the child while his mother is too busy doing something else! I mean if u can't take care of ur own child then simply don't have one!

Hiding at house seems like the best plan right now, cause if i were to go anywhere it would take me an hour and I would probably come back cursing and ranting about driving in Qatar lol. Better stay here and watch a movie or make my friends come over hehe. Have a good evening :-)

i just came back from Bday party at Jungle Zone with my son. Being winded up by kids who have no manner, have no idea what queueing means, and have no idea that you shouldn't push younger/smaller kids. My son is 6 yrs old, he can stand for himself, but these kids just so ignorance and rude they always try to pushed in to get in the front of the queue. My son nearly fighthing with him. I ended up have to queue with my son and stand behind him. And still these rude / ignorance kids still try to go in front of us. Why on earth the parents never teach them manner???? They act like that now in amusement park, you can imagine how the will behave on the road )*(*&^^%$$#^&*__+0

Yes many place to choose in Qatar! We always hide in the house in the weekend, hate the traffic and hate try to get park in the shopping malls in the weekend.

cornellian, make sure the battery fully charged. I had the same problem last night, my ipod wont switch on, only seen the apple logo. I left it on charged for an hour then try to switch it on again.

Cornellian, repeat it a couple of times.

I tried that, and I got the apple logo but then it stayed switched off and it won't switch on.

Cornellian, you need to reset it, here are Apple's instructions:

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.
