I have heard today that the Qatari Government is revocking Jordanian residency permits and visas... Can anyone comment on this?

Well, I recieved an offer from a company in Doha and I was assured that a Jordanian visa was approved and that the company has applied for my visa. I was assured that it would not take more than a week or so... I have not heard anythig from them as yet... Still waiting!

all what i have to tell you about it is that am a jordanian, living now in KSA, was offered a job in Doha, and still waiting for my visa, it has been 9 weeks now since the company (sponsor) started to issue the visa, in fact, they called me before 3 weeks and told me that they got the approval, i dont know exactly what do they mean by approval (is it an approval for a jordanian or an approval to issue a work visa for an expat???) the weird thing is that they didnt apologize to me till the moment. and every two weeks they calls me saying that they are still working on it and there is nothing to worry about. i dont know, does it usually takes that long? is it normal. i heard what you said from many other friends (jordanians who lives in doha). my question is (is 9 weeks normal???) or not ???.
