U have to drive and u can drive but dont expect less fine if u violate the rules. Authorities are discussing to increase the penalties to reduce fatalities.
6000 is nothing when you compare it with the disaster it may create if u jump the red lights. It may take so many innocent lives if its 1000 QR. You are not gonna loose anything if u want for 1 to 3 mins till the signal turns green.
I did the same once when I was crossing a big round about. Single was orange (blinking) and as its normal in many RA signal 75% of my car was beyond the white line and then I noticed that signal is red.
There was a ISF (red Card) police car right next to me. I reversed back, police warn me not to go back with an horn.
