Kahramaa bills

Got my Kahramaa bills for July and Aug. adding up to 1500 QAR, the problem is... I WASN'T HERE IN JULY AND AUGUST AND HAD TURNED OFF THE ELECTRICITY AND WATER!!!

Anyone that had a similar case who can advise on this?

As u said I went there and they were very helpful and told me to refer to them again next week to have my new adjusted bills...

The water meter reading is not taken on a regular basis . It may be all pending water meter reading is accumulated and billed or there may be some major leak after your meter , please have it checked

I agree with fadixp. It happened to me also. One reason is the Kahramaa meter reader is not reading your meter regularly. So they computed your bills with reference to your maximum consumption during summer. One solution is to send monthly electricity and water meter readings in arabic form through their office fax number. Anyway they will compute all your consumptions when you will have to close finally your meter for good. You will get every penny that you have overpaid.

You can go to Kahramaa they will help you out, if you didnt consume they will deduct the money and if you consumed (leak after the meter) you will have to pay (you can talk to the owner to solve it, incase he is responsible for the maintenance).

Just don't worry it is not an issue at all.
